Welcome to our studio, a place where you can find a unique collection of fine hand crafted linens and textiles to enhance your home and environment. Terra Firma Linens specializes in fine hand embroidered linens that are the perfect companion to many antique and arts & crafts collections. We have selected from the Art Nouveau, Bungalow Arts & Crafts, Art Deco Moderne periods fabulous ornamental motifs from the late 19th and early 20th centuries utilizing these designs throughout our work. These linens are uniquely suitable to the old historic bungalow, the grand manor home, or the modern deco penthouse from the past.

Continually we will be adding new textile pieces to our collections and will periodically offer other relevant findings that compliment our own design sensibilities and your taste. For example, you will find a selection of Arts & Crafts lace curtains we thought were unique and very appropriate for the Arts & Crafts environment. In the collection you will find two unique and beautiful Candice Wheeler Honey Bees and Japanese Carp lace curtain designs, a Scottish Glasgow Rose design, and a great Bungalow/Art Nouveau design in the Meadow Lily lace motif.

Along the the way, we just couldn't resist offering the Alphonse Mucha Four Seasons Tapestry collection. They are so elegant and dramatic. When placed in the right environment, these tapestries could be quite exceptional!

Among our favorite historic designers are William Morris, Alphonse Mucha, MP Verniel, an important collaborator with Mucha, Candice Wheeler, Charles R McIntosh, Dard Hunter, and Clarice Cliff.

As we add more textiles to our hand embroidered line of napkins, placemats, and centerpiece runners, feel free to contact us to discuss your own custom sized or custom made linen needs. We manufacture and create all of our linens using a beautiful traditional hemstitch finishing technique on most of our pieces. In the near future we will be including a very beautiful line of hand embroidered decorative pillows utilizing some of our favorite period motifs. Look for our hand crafted and hand embroidered curtains in gorgeous European and Irish Linen combinations.

You will always find available our linen by the yard in both natural and colored linen in the most appropriate arts & crafts colorations. You can choose from a good variety of colors perfect for your own décor projects.

It is our hope that you will visit our site often. We are always available to answer any and all inquiries including taking your order by phone. Since we are a needle arts workroom, we can be busy at our worktable designing and hand embroidering, therefore, we are not always accessible to answer our phone immediately. However, if you leave a voice message, we will usually be able to return your call within the ½ hour and we do answer emails very promptly.
